mmmmmmmm…fideos dulces!
They’re toasted pastas that are then sugar coated. Light and crunchy and sweet. A popular snack in Bolivia and Peru, esp in the highlands.
They also do a variety with corn called “maná” (a bit like puffed wheat cereal) that is then lightly sugar coated. I prefer the maná to the fideos dulces, but both work fine. You get a big bagful of either type for 2 Bolivianos.
