Why the US is at war in Syria

Ever wonder how that Syrian conflict REALLY began? Well, you might have to look back to 2000 for the real root cause:

As usual, it’s all about oil prices…and pipelines.

And if you want to know even more, they mention a report from as far back as the 1950s (!!!) that tells why the whole thing is a terrible idea. You see, this whole “topple the tyrant by supporting his enemies” thing was already tried back then with Iran, and relations since then have been, well, shaky, to say the least. Iran is, you’ll note, rather close to Syria (and Iraq) on the map.
